Just when I think Tom has sent the coolest photo ever, he sends another awesome batch! Thanks, Tom, these are Fantastic!!

About John Dillinger, Tom says:
These pictures were taken at Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana. John Dillinger was raised up on a small farm
just outside the town of Mooresville, Indiana on SR 267 and the farmhouse is still standing and inhabited. To some he was
a hero and to others a cold blooded killer and I would say, from all that I read about him I don't think I would have
wanted to challenge him to find out which one he was. You must remember back in the depression (I've been told) many banks
were calling in notes on farms and Dillinger, when he robbed the banks, he also took the deeds, liens, notes, etc. that
the banks held on these properties and would send them to the farmers that lived on these farms so many were able to keep
their properties as the banks did not have computers in those days, hence the poor folk considered Dillinger a Robin Hood,
sort to speak. The banks were the bad guys, gosh, things haven't changed that much, have they?

Over the years, because of disrespectful people (vandals) his grave stone has been replaced four times, I think? Possibly
even more? I respect private property, and I respect the dead so I do not not need to chip away a grave stone for a
souvenir and my photo's serve as perfect souvenirs and nothing is destroyed. A Colt Government Model 1911-A1 .45 caliber
pistol was placed on his grave because this is the exact type of gun that John was killed with by the FBI in Chicago.
It was placed on his stone just for effect and as a matter of history. He is buried on the right of his mother and father.
