Grays Cemetery, Gray,Kentucky
Thursday - June 26, 2003

I didn't use any of these images on my card shop, but I thought I'd
post these anyway. The highway cut right through the cemetery years and
years ago, and old timers used to say that there were folks who had been
buried alive here - that when they moved the graves for the
highway, they looked inside the coffins and the some of the skeleton's hands were raised,
and the insides of the lids of the coffins were scratched and shredded where
they had tried to get out. Just an old story to scare us kids, I guess...

Back to take photos of the other side of the highway, I found that
on up behind the Grays cemetery, is another cemetery. Cox.
