We went to Lisa's to work in the garden yesterday, and when we pulled up she was tilling. The guy hadn't come back to disc it, he plowed it a week ago but the clumps were too big and had to be tilled. I went and got the tiller from her to give her a break, and she hadn't much more than turned it over to me and stepped out of the garden, when I looked down and this arrowhead was embedded in the dirt. Tickled me to death to find it!
Stan found another one on down in the garden, a little bigger, but he let me claim I'd found it and so I teased everyone that I was in the arrowhead-finding-zone, 2 in less than an hour. *laughs* I gave the 2nd one to Nick.
That was fun yesterday. We planted 5 - 60 feet rows of corn.. and 3 rows of onions, ok that was all I had a hand in, the rest, mom and lisa did, the 'taters, and cucumbers, and when we went back today stan helped get the bed ready for 'oddishes' (radishes). We got some good photos too.. nice little anomalies,
but I won't post them as the ghost was following me around a lot, mostly, ok, mostly, and I am NOT posting pics of myself. I hate my own pics. heh.
Anyway, the garden is full of chips of flint and arrowheads, but i think it's gonna have to rain some before we find anymore heads. we searched, but they're they exact color of dirt and we just can't spot them. In the rain tho, they glisten, sort of the way a lost contact lense does when you shine a flash light on it. Now I'm hoping it'll rain soon, while the dirt there's still soft so we can go look for more.

The guys were looking for more arrowheads today. (Mother's Day) But aside from a few chips of flint, no one found anything.
