A phone call that someone I know recieved.. is proof that the old pearl of wisdom "There's no such thing as a stupid question." is just wrong. The gentleman called where she works wanting a pamphlet, which was arranged to be mailed to him, and he was told that it would be there in 6 to 8 weeks. His replying question, "How should I wait?" is proof that there really are stupid questions.
How should he wait. Some folks bake bread, some people pace, some take walks, or clean.. some people count the cracks in the ceiling, hell there are a lot of different ways to wait! She told him to just take his pick at his favorite waiting past time. *laughs* I'd have told him it's required that he stand on his head by the mailbox until the pamphlet arrives.
