Saturday evening, about 8:00 P.M., the woman in the story (linked below) was walking from her brother's house, to pick up her daughter less than a mile away, and she just vanished. Someone thinks they heard her scream "help" but no one saw what happened to her. Now search and rescue teams are set up in the park across the street from here, and they've been flying over the house on their way to try to find her. The news said tonight that she disappeared approximately 200 yards from where the rescue headquarters are set up. That would put her dissappearing 4 houses down from us, at the stop-sign on the road turning into our lane. Scary, that. I hope they find her safe and sound.

This is my porch roof. For a little bit, I might have been able to jump on my porch rail and touch the helicoptor. It seemed like it was that close.
