The Brickyard Pond
The Governor's Mansion...there have been 2 governors from Barbourville, James Dixon Black (1918) and Flem D. Sampson (1927-1931). I was told this mansion was Sampson's but I'm not sure. I'm thinking Sampson's mansion was on Sampson hill, Mom said that she used to go there at Christmas time as a child.. so if this was a governor's mansion at all, I'm thinking it was Black's.
The Old Logan Hospital

The Old Dixie Warehouse. My granddad worked in here back when the town flooded. He had to crawl out of one of the windows to get out.
I thought this was the old depot, but mom said that the train station was next to this building.
