Her tests were all back and the report was wonderful. The doctor saw nothing to indicate that she should ever have another seizure - in fact said that he truly doubted she ever would. He said that some children do that - the fever spikes, causes a once in a lifetime seizure, drops and then never happens again. So once again, thank God.
This year seems like it's not been too good, but when you consider how much worse things could be, I think you have to agree, so far, it's been a wonderful year and I'm greatful for every blessing we've recieved.
I had to laugh last night - Mallory cracked me up. She spent the afternoon and most of the evening with Mom, and she just insisted that she wanted to spend the night there too.. but then when Mikyla called to tell her good night last night, Mallory changed her mind. Mom insisted that it was because Mikyla called..and maybe it was.. but when I asked Mallory why she changed her mind, she said, "Granny's stove cleans itself - I want to come to your house where your stove doesn't do that."
Mom said earlier that she had put her oven on self clean, and it was popping and cracking, and Mallory had asked her what that noise was in her kitchen.. lol.. mom said oh it's just my stove cleaning itself.
I could just imagine what Mal saw in her mind's eye - Mom's stove sprouting big long iron arms and hands, iron elbows bending to let massive hands scrub every inch of the stove.. she was probably too scared to go peek - knowing Mallory she probably expected it to come get her and clean her next.
*laughs*
That kid is too funny!
