The results from Mallory's scans will be back next week.. but for now things are the same.. Depakote twice a day... which should be in her system by Saturday, so says the neurologist.
For now, no contact sports for Mallory, no strenuous play, no running, no baths, showers only - no horse back riding, (she didn't do that much anyway) no more tree climbing, and she really shouldn't even be swinging out there on the swingset.
I can pretty much accept all of the 'no's' in her life now, I hate them, but okay for now - except the baths. Mallory loves her baths.. particularly bubble baths.
Showers, to her, suck. So I was sitting on the little stool beside the tub last night, watching her play and splash around in the bubbles, defiantly letting her have this one pleasure, knowing if i had to I could grab her out of there in a heartbeat... but all the while with my heart in my throat.
She, however, isn't accepting squat. She looks at me like I'm nuts when I slow her down, make her rest, tell her no honey you can't do this or that.. and dang if she doesn't plow right ahead and try to do things she shouldn't be doing right now, anyway. Egads, it's like trying to rope a tornado!
