Just A Few Things...

Mik's play was so neat! She looked adorable, and said her lines perfectly. She looked so nervous. Thanks mom for the pics!

No, I still haven't gotten a port for my own camera. Bleah!

Lisa's birthday was on the 25th, it went great! Mom cooked a wonderful dinner and we had cake and presents, and I was soooo jealous!

Mik and Joel are over their strep, and miraculously *knocks on wood* none of the rest of us caught it. Maegan though didn't act like she felt very well today.
Mallory is doing well - she's liking school these days and this year she gets to be a dance kitten. She and Mikyla are both dance kittens this year, so they really are enjoying that. :)

What wonderful weather we've been having the past couple of days! Stormy and dark, cold and dreary, the leaves look defeated, they're barely hanging on... it won't be long and they'll be all gone. I love fall.. LOVE it! October is almost here and next to Christmas, I can't say I love Halloween, because it's the whole month of October I love. SPOOKY MOVIES ABOUND IN OCTOBER!
The weather is so deliciously creepy.. isn't it good to be alive?!! The fog! Have you noticed how foggy it's been? Usually on Autumn mornings I can look out the living room window and see the fog across the road at the park. The past week it has been right up on my front porch, thick as can be, just like it's stopped by to say howdy on the way through.

Weather-wise, I got a very special treat today. We got a thunderstorm. The rain was coming down in sheets, and this thunder.. it was unlike any I've ever heard. It was like the sky was hungry and it's tummy was rumbling right over the house, sooo low. Just.. over and over, rumbling like it was right on the house, and the best part was when it started coming down my chimney. I sat there staring, thinking lightening was gonna follow it and come spang in and say howdy too - My fireplace was acting like a speaker, the thunder was coming down through it right into the den. How cool is that? We've been here 14 years and that's never happened before. That was awesome! How can anyone not enjoy Fall?!

It's 12:12, early day tomorrow.. gotta get some sleep!

G'nite world!
