Some Good News :)
We had to take Mallory back to her doctor regarding her seizures and Depakote level this morning, and the results of her lab work last week were in, she's doing GREAT! He said he doesn't have to see her now for a whole year!! How cool is that!! Yay Mallory!! If in this year, she doesn't have a seizure, when she goes back next year, he's going to start weaning her off of the Depakote! She's gained 5 pounds and grew 2 inches taller! Talk about happy, but that made my YEAR!!
Today Papaw had to go back to his doc as well, and that report is good too! The doctor was flabbergasted when he saw Papaw. He couldn't get over the difference in his legs...said he'd been treating Papaw for a looong time and had never seen his legs looking that good. He told him that if he sticks to the diet that Mom has him on, and stays away from the sugar like he's been doing, that the next time he visits his office, he would be walking on his own, without needing a walker or a wheelchair. Way to go Papaw and Mom! GREAT JOB!!!
As for me, I had to go have more lab work done this morning. I should know the results tomorrow, so cross your fingers that my report is a good one too. :)
It's snowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwing.... cold... winter is here, right now and its only 3 more days until Bonnie's wedding!
