...was really nice.. Kelly and Bonnie and Joel came for supper, and then afterwards, Lisa came to pick me up for the concert.. Bon and Kelly stayed to help Stan with the kids because there was NO way I was taking them with me, too much to have to watch, I wouldn't have been able to enjoy it, so when it was over, and we got back home, I got the fire all roaring hot and blazing, made a plate of chocolate fudge, and we settled down in the den to watch a movie Kelly'd brought for me, "The Green Mile" - I love that movie.. I've seen it about 8 times now, but I still love to watch it, a really good movie.
They've not been gone home too long now, and the kids are all sawing logs, the house is warm and everything feels pretty good.
I haven't had a 'panic attack' since I got home from the hospital. Isn't that odd that I didn't know panic from pain? I still can't get over that one.
The doctor's office called today.. the lady said she didn't know what the results were from the lab work I took last Thursday, but that the doctor wants me back in this Thursday for more lab work. I guess they're making double sure everything's working alright...and I think it is, I feel better now than I have in a long long time. I don't feel like I've just eaten a pot of lead soup anymore, and I don't have to force myself to do things like I had been doing. It's a big difference. I wish I'd not been stupid and had gone to the doctor for that long before I was forced to. What a silly woman I was. People, if you don't feel well.. get to the doctor! Don't wait!
I heard today that my aunt Midge has been moved into ICU - she has a bad case of Pneumonia. Midge, we're praying for you, you're in our thoughts, you have to get well and get out of there, you have a birthday coming up the 22nd!
