Papaw's Shopping Trip

Papaw wanted to get out day before yesterday to get Mom a birthday gift.. so..

.. off they went!

They stopped at Sonic's for lunch, and Papaw had a burger.. he said he was so sloppy with it that he was wearing it.. feeling foolish - but then he turned and looked at Lisa who'd had a big Chili Dog and she was wearing hers too, so then he didn't feel so bad.. they went and finished their shopping... both their shirts coated with their lunch! *laughs* They all had a good time.. wish I could have been there too. :)

Name Calling

Did Isaiah Washington Call his Castmate the Derogatory Term Meant for Homosexuals?

Jessie Jackson Calls for Seinfeld Boycott After Michael Richards Goes Wild at the Laugh Factory, Calling Heckler the "N" Word.

The Speech that Made the Muslums Mad at the Pope

I was watching something on HBO night before last.. The Big Black Comedy something or other.. there was a big black ball on the stage. I just watched one skit, a woman - I don't know what her name was. I laughed at some of her jokes, but I tell ya, if she didn't use the word "nigger" in her skit at least 40 times before I turned the channel, my name isn't what it is. And her audience, when they panned the camera, was cracking up. It was a predominantly black audience. I find that so strange. Some of the things she was saying about 'her' nigger (hubby) weren't very flattering either. I just wish I could understand why folks in the audience didn't get all offended and hostile and insist that she go to counceling and anger management to find out why she felt compelled to use that word so much. Peculiar...

It seems that more and more public figures are getting into trouble for using words considered to be derogatory to someone, or a racial slur to the other. Man I'm glad we private figures aren't dissected like that. I'd be in therapy all the time.

I can't tell you how many times I've called someone "Pie Face!" I have absolutely nothing against pies, nothing, but it sure feels good to say it sometimes. And I've had my share of being called downright "Pussy Face!" And I know the call-ee had nothing whatsoever against Pussy. Nothing. It wasn't exactly a slur against Pussy per sae, it was just that the person was angry with me and I suppose likened my face to a .. well.. Pussy. At that time. Are we talking kitten? Cat? Something else? I don't know. I just know I don't look like anything resembling anything the word Pussy describes. I don't think so, anyway. *sighs* I hope not, anyway. But my point is...although I didn't and don't particularly like being called "Pussy Face", I can understand why the person felt compelled to say it. I, with my wit and great countanance pissed them off so badly they lost control.

Did I point my finger and say "Therapy! You disparaged Pussy! You need help! You don't deserve to live with the rest of us civilized folks!"

No. I did not. I sniggered up my sleeve that the name caller lost control. A grown person standing there with spittle dripping down its cheek, eyes all bloodshot and bulging so angry they could just burst and all they can come up with is a lil' ol' "Pussy Face!"

Egads, this is the world we're living in.

Stop-op It!

Maegan is very good with the word "no". She's most excellent when she says "No Way!!" My favorite thing to hear out of her though is her newest little sentence. She was irritated at Dippy for getting her off of a stool so she wouldn't fall.. she glared at him and said "Stop-op It!!" That was adorable. She just has to learn how many "ops" are in stop!

Mallory was sitting at the table this morning, watching me fix her lunch. She had her little chin in her hands until she saw me reach for the bologna.

"No! I don't want bloney anymore! I'm tired of it!"

Me: "What do you want then honey, I thought you loved bloney. Would you like tuna?"

Mallory: "No. I want peanut butter and jelly.. but don't mix it up."

Me: "Mix it up? What do you mean.. you just want jelly on one side, and peanut butter on the other? In seperate sandwich bags?"

Mallory: (with a sigh at my incompetence) "No, Mammy... Make one sandwich out of peanut butter...and the other one out of Jelly."

*laughs* So she got her peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Only Mallory!

Maegan, Again...

I don't know why I've not taken any pics of the bigger kids lately.. I need to do that! Anyway, here's Maegan again.. this time she took Mikyla's toy that Mom got for Mik today. Mom, poor Mom.. she didn't realize Maegan was big enough to notice toys like she does, she took Mikyla and Mallory out this evening, shopping, while Maegan, Stan and I stayed with Papaw. When she got back, and the girls had their toys.. she looked for hers.. but there wasn't one.. so she didn't do a thing but to have a big kanniption fit and take Mikyla's.

Mom said she bets she never forgets Maegan again! *laughs* That was a prize winning fit, wasn't it!

I won't say - but you can bet your sweet patootie it has something to do with Stinkin' Creek.

Just...stuff.

I almost have the house straightened back up. I'm going to finish it today before I start wallpapering Maegan's room. I can't imagine how bad this place would be to try doing that on top of the mess from doing the flooring. Ugh! Anyway, it's almost done.

The kids want a television in the living room just for their play stations, the v-smile, nintendo or ever what that is that Lisa gave them to play with, that dance mat, the camera/karaoke machine. They have a lot of neat toys that hook to a television. I think I'll do that today too. I wonder if there's a gadget that lets you hook up umpteen things to one box, so they don't have to keep unhooking one to hook up another?

They're all over their strep, thank God, and are feeling better. Mik and Mal are in school again today, they got up happy little campers, so that was nice. Maegan's been in a wonderful mood for the past 2 days.. so loving! I can just walk down the hall, then come back into the room and she's all huggy-lovey-dovey.. big smile on her face.. she's so funny. :)

Mom has a birthday coming up on the 27th! Mom! How old will you be?
*wicked grin* I promise not to post it here if you tell me!

Dad's still in Florida. I hope he gets to come home for Mom's birthday. We'll see. The rascal calls here to tell me he's fixing to go into Bob Evans (I love that place and he knows it!) to eat.. or how warm it is.. or what time the tide's coming in.. or going out.. Argggg.. I would LOVE to be in Florida!

Papaw's doing fine, every day he's either on the phone, or has Mom call to ask me if I'll come over a while and bring the girls... but they were sick and I didn't want him catching that stuff.. maybe we can go today. Mik went yesterday for a while - Mom's helping her practice her reading. She's doing pretty dang good too. :)

Mom too has been doing some pre-spring cleaning. She said she just can't take any more clutter.. that her what nots and knick knacks had to go.. she was gonna box them up and have me and Lisa get them, go through the boxes, get out what we'd like to keep, then give Bonnie the boxes to go through. We all thought she was losing her mind, her knick knacks?! I thought maybe she was getting ready to move.. Nick asked her if she was dying.. but no, the simple truth is she's tired of dusting the blasted things.

So she cleaned out her closets, her cabinets, all the places you put knick knacks, and had Stan go pick them up. Lisa had already gone through them.

I called Bonnie, thinking to save some work.. told her.. come on over and go through these boxes with me, because that way what you don't want we can just give away from here and won't be double handling them. She came over an hour or so later.. and her jaw dropped seeing all the boxes and bags in the kitchen.

We started going through them, one by one.. the boxes first.. the huge box first. *laughs* On top was plastic bag, with a zipper.. the kind comforters and bed sets come in. Inside were old pieces of cardboard. Bonnie looked at me and deadpanned.. "You can have that, Mom." I just set it aside and kept looking.. next was a box.. yes, a box in the box.. I sat and opened it.. all excited.. what could it be? It was a plastic coated clump of styrofoam.. the kind used to protect glass in the mail.. and about 8 styrofoam peanuts. Again.. Bonnie deadpanned, "You can have that too, Mom." I just shot her a look and put that box of styrofoam to the side, then dug deeper in the big box.

My prizes were more empty boxes, full of other empty boxes. I just looked at Bonnie.. once in a while we pulled out some old tissue and more pieces of cardboard. I was puzzled, but then I'd find a little glass doll, or a crushed bowl, and I thought wow.. I'm not sure what these things meant, but they had to mean something to Mom for her to send them to me.

When Bonnie started to leave, I just muttered, still shaking my head.. "Gosh when I'm old, I sure hope I don't call you to come over to get some trinkets and then end up giving you styrofoam peanuts." She laughed at me and went on home.

I've heard of people going into their deceased Aunt's house.. the one who kept 9 or 10 cats, finding a 10 feet tall ball of string and crates full of styrofoam peanuts, and they spent a lot of time years later off and on, trying to figure out why Aunt Emma saved those things. I looked at the stuff and thought much the same thing. I kept the peanuts, I'm not sure why, but they have to mean something.. they just have to. Don't they?"

The next day I was talking to Mom on the phone.. she asked me how I liked the trinkets, and I stammered, "I.. they were.. wow, that was too cool, thank you so much!" She asked what we were doing, I said "Oh we're just taking the stuff we didn't want down to the bottom of the hill for the trash man..." "Oh yeah? There wasn't much for him was there?" Ohhh I wish she hadn't asked that.. I stammered some more.. "Oh no, not much, no, just a bit.. uh.. a few little things were broken and .." She interrupted me.."How did you like it? What did you keep?" Um.. Um.. I kept.. the .. uh.. Mom.. if I tell you I'm scared it'll hurt your feelings.. " "What?" I could tell she was puzzled. So.. I stepped out on a limb.. "Mom.. I have to know.. what were those styrofoam peanuts for?"
"WHAT?" She was more puzzled than I was. I explained what we'd found and she started laughing. I don't mean just a chuckle, I mean a belly laugh from here to China. She calmed down and asked what I'd found in the boxes and I stammered and just finally told her.. trash. More empty boxes.. torn tissue and cardboard.

Stan had brought home the boxes she'd had set aside to take out to her dumpster. I bet that's what Aunt Emma had meant to do too guys.. so you can stop wondering about it now!

On a more somber note, Doyle, the helicoptor Uncle from a few previous posts had a heart attack a couple of days ago. He got to go home from the hospital last night.. he's doing fine.. glad you're alright "Doyle-Jean" - Mallory was worried about you! :)

Jana, get well soon!!

Dede, I reply to your mail but it gets bounced back! I don't know what to do!

I think that's about all that's new in my world this week. Stay warm folks, it's snowing out there!

Have You Ever Been So Tired

That when you lay down, it's like the bed is made of some ultra super mega magnetic gravity? Once you're there, you can't move whatsoever?

Lisa keeps asking me.. "Are you sore?" (We've been putting down flooring)
I keep telling her "Not a bit, no I'm not sore at all." (I'm a LIAR! I'm sore as hell, but admitting that means "Old" and I"m not doing it, I don't care how much she wants me to say it.)

The girls have Strep, Mikyla and Mallory haven't been to school since Wednesday.. the holiday was Monday, so they didn't go then..they only went one day last week. Took them to the Doctor on Friday - so they got their medicine, and today they're much, Much better, but I have to tell you, I'm not feeling too swift. I'm headachy, and did I mention, I'm sore all over? If not, well I AM, Dammit! *laughs* Old age my ass, I have a virus! Yeah!

Dad's back in Florida.. it's looking like he may be down there for Mom's birthday. I sure hope not. I hate it when he goes there *coughswithoutmecoughs* ...it's like part of the world is tilted. I'm glad he's missing this cold weather though, good Lord, it's freezing rain out there.

Congratulations Nikki and Brian, on the new little one!

I didn't get many pictures this week, and I just went through the few I did get, they're all of Maegan this time. The little clean freak! I don't know where she got this clean business, because we're all slobs, but anyway, she's into 'clean' -

She won't take a bath if the tub isn't glistening, she points and says in the most disbelieving, disgusted voice, while pointing to the offending water droplet, or overlooked hair or piece of cotton (mik still has to use cotton in her ears for her bath) "EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!". Mallory gave her a fruit roll up, in her crib the other day. That stuff has this dark blue dye on it.. a tattoo for the tongue or some such nonsense.. Maegan drools of course, and drooled some of the dye onto her pink striped sheet. I washed that sheet, and put it on her bed a couple of days ago. She saw maybe 4 little dark spots on it.. that finger shot out.. pointing to the stains, and again, her trademark "EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW"! I had to touch the spots to show her it wasn't anything gross, just a stain.. she looked at me doubtfully.. laid down but then was very careful not to let her leg touch that spot.. she scooshed herself to the edge of the bed and lay very stiff so she didn't accidentally move and get some of that EW on her little leg. She's unbelievable! We're not allowed to vaccuum anymore. She has to do it.

After a hard day of cleaning she likes to come in here and watch television.

She's pretty bossy, she points to the remote then to the television.. you don't have to be Einstein to figure out what it is she wants. She's talking more and more every day, saying things very clearly... and she's got such a sunny disposition, always smiling, or giggling. She got this Strep business first, and shared it with the rest of them. I don't know if Joel's got it yet or not, night before last he was fine, but I didn't see him yesterday, and haven't talked to Bon yet today.

Mallory got her progress report last week, she did great! Way to go, Mallory!!!

I have to go now! Stay warm, everyone!

"Blacks Should Get Over Slavery"

First of all, let me say he's 79 years old. You have to know all of his brain cells can't possibly be firing correctly. Secondly, as a woman, (a white woman too, by the way) and someone whose female ancestors were for all intents and purposes slaves as well - property owned by their husbands or fathers. I'm not getting over it.

I'm still pissed about that. I'm still waiting to see a woman get equal pay. I'm still waiting to see a woman become president of the United States. I'm still waiting for men...both white and black, (and every other color and religion the damned testosterone filled creatures are born in) to apologise for the way women in the past have been treated, and are still being treated.

I want to see my Grand-daughters grow up to be strong, self sufficient women who have no need for a man in order to feel whole or complete. I'd like to hear a pregnant couple's everyday common excited chatter be like this: "Wow we hope our firstborn is a girl!" "We're really praying for a daughter." "A boy would be nice, we'd love it just as much, but Lord, we really want a girl, we already have her name picked out - it's an old family name...after her grandmother!!"

I'm still waiting for the day women rule and men are kept in cages to be used strictly for breeding purposes.

Yes!

I have a dream too!

Get over it, indeed.

Skating Saturday Night - A Bust!

I promised the girls last week, that if they were good we'd take them rollar skating Saturday. However, when we got to the rink, they were closed. I supposed it had something to do with the owner being one of those killed in that airplane crash in Lexington some months back.

So...since Nana was with us, and since her brother, Doyle, had offered to show the girls the Life Net Helicopter if we brought them on down, we went to the airport to see it. True to his word, he let the girls get in and check it out. Needless to say, they thought that was 'cooler' than skating anyway. :)

Mallory looks like she was born to sit in that seat, doesn't she?

Maegan took this picture - she was mad that Mikyla and Mallory were taking pictures with their own cameras so I let her use mine. She didn't do too bad, did she?

Thanks, Doyle! That was too cool!!

Rolling Eyeballs..it Runs in the Family..

Do you remember the post I left a while back.. something to the effect of
"Joel! Put your eye back!" ?

I've discovered that Papaw's eye does the same thing! It's his right eye too! Same as Joel's! It's genetic! I don't really know why they do that, lazy eye maybe.. I'm certain Joel was never electrocuted.. so I'm guessing Papaw wasn't either...just a fluke of nature.. though Mom said that Papaw's mother had him late in life.. (used up all the good stuff earlier on in life?) but Bonnie had Joel early in life.. so .. all I can think is that it's genetic. And there I was thinking that Joel had a loose wire in behind it or something! What a relief!

Click the above image to better see what I'm on about..
Love his heart, it reminds me of Edgar Allen Poe's "Tell Tale Heart".

I'm glad though Mikyla or the other gals didn't have it...and weren't born with it...I mean.. Not that it's a bad thing, but women are more sensitive (I don't sound more sensitive, I realize, just I'm explaining something) about accepting things like loose eyeballs than a man would be...and I'm thinking of a time when later in life.. the girls are wanting to marry and I can just see the guys running from them, laughing behind their hands, saying things like "Oh no! Ol' Wall-eye-Mikyla wants to get married, but I wouldn't ever know if she was looking at me or the backyard!" Whereas women are all.. "Aww.. God love his heart, he has a lame eye.. He's looking at me like a loyal little puppy dog, I bet he'd make a wonderful husband, I want to take care of him, I want to see if I can't fix that eye for him..."

You all know that's pretty much the straight on truth.. and God forbid one of the girls had that loose eye, AND were chunky as Mikyla tends to be.. or clumsy with one eye rolling around like that, as Mallory tends to be.. that would be pretty cruel, now wouldn't it?

Anyway.. I will remember to help Joel learn NOT to say the prayer.. "Oh Lord, please make my eye like the other one." (2 loose eyeballs wouldn't be cool at all!)

Okay, okay, enough of that.. now on to more somber things. Kelly was released from the state home for .. *coughs* I won't go on about his mental condition at this time, it's another one of those sensitive topics I don't seem to do very well with, but here's a picture so you can all see that he's up, out and back to himself again...

These folks are Papaw's neices and his nephew, Charlotte, Betty, Ike and Mary.

And this last shot is of Joel all made up like a girl.. (*laughs*.. no Jana, I didn't do that because we were talking about it just yesterday, Bonnie took this picture night before last, I swear!)

Mikyla got her report card.. no, they call it a 'progress report' these days.. all S's and O's.. she did great! Way to go Mikyla!! Nick got his too, he did very well too! You two are awesome! Good job!! So far Mallory hasn't gotten hers. Her teacher said they should be here Thursday, but they didn't send them. Maybe they'll have them ready on Monday.

Mikyla talked to her Mommy earlier today, but she didn't get to talk to Roy.. so She called his cell phone later tonight... but only got the voice mail. Sarah called back about 5 minutes later... just to be sure nothing was wrong here.. and when she found out everything was okay, she had to go.. the music, she said, was too loud there at TGI- Friday's to be able to hear us.

Let's see.. what else is new around here.. Maegan is starting to talk up a storm. She's singing Ringy Roundy Rosey.. and she walks around saying "Happy Happy Day" a lot.. with that big smile, those big blue eyes. She's a living doll. :)

Bonnie and Kelly brought Joel over for a while this evening - they wanted to go with Matt to shoot some pool.

I guess I've babbled incoherently enough for a while. G'nite world!

What's That Smell?

In all of Manhattan, probably coming from New Jersey, if I heard correctly on Fox News for over 3 hours earlier today...the smell of Natural Gas permeated the air, making some folks sick - feeling dizzy.. triggering asthma attacks. I was in and out of the room, talking to Papaw, then going back to watch some more, and after a while Mayor Michael Bloomberg did a press conference.. (cocky little man, that one, he got all hateful with one reporter, I wanted to throw a tomato.. but alas it wouldn't have hit him, it would have only pissed Mom off as it would have made a mess on her TV screen) anyway...Bloomberg insisted that while the smell was that chemical they put in Natural Gas to let you know there's a leak.. but he wasn't sure of the source, and he was sure it wasn't dangerous.
When asked how he was sure, he said something to the effect that if the Gas was leaking, it was dissipating and couldn't be ignited, and since it was open air it wasn't going to kill anyone.

Odor In New York Not Dangerous

I just sat there listening, watching all those people coming and going on the television...thinking I'd be scared shitless to be there while something that was unidentifiable to the government was all stinking like a big Natural Gas leak.. there where the terrorists wreaked havoc and we know would just love to wreak havoc there again...but...Don't panic folks, it's not dangerous, it's just...stinky around here today.

Why didn't Bloomberg just state the obvious? There's a GIANT hidden somewhere below the subway system, and occasionally he eats a bad baker or rotten Natural Gas CEO and it bloats up his tummy and he FARTS and they smell it all over the blasted city! Two cities, even!

Odor Reminds New Yorkers of Earlier "Pancake" Smell in 2006

You thought I was kidding about the bad Baker, didn't you?

Our 14th Anniversary

The kids don't understand what an anniversary is, they only knew 'their' anniversary was today, and they were gonna get to go to Big Boy's again. Yay! *laughs* They do so enjoy those hot fudge cakes.

I took this one with Mikyla's little Polaroid. Either the settings need changed, or it's just not a very good camera. Still.. it's the only picture I got tonight, so here it is. :)

We took the girls, and Bonnie and Kelly and Joel joined us, as did Lisa and Nick, and we had a really nice dinner. Lisa came with gift bags, anniversary gifts of course, for not only Stan and me, but little ballerina statues for the girls as well. It was their anniversary too, after all. Bonnie gave me some of the prettiest Pearl ear-rings, and Mom, Dad and Papaw sent us cards with MONEY in them, we do so love money. You guys shouldn't have done that. Thank you all!

We bought the girls new back packs and lunch boxes for their anniversary. They got to pick them out and so were happy with them. Mik and Mal also got a 'remembery' stick for their cameras, so they can take as many pictures now as they want to. Believe it or not, Mikyla figured out what it was earlier today, tried MY 'remembery' stick I had in my Kodak, and dang if it didn't fit her Polaroid, so it was either buy her her own, or lose mine. That kid is a PIRATE!
(When they get tired of their cameras, I'll have 3 'remembery' sticks so HA!)

Those of you with an acute sense of detectiveriness (yes, that's a word - well, it is now) will notice the time on this post. The unGodly hour of 4:00 A.M. - posting here, when I should be sleeping.. it's only 2 hours until time to wake the girls for school, but for the life of me I can't sleep. I'm too freaked out. Too uneasy. Too.. spooked to sleep.

I'm sure it's nothing more than Sarah's bedtime stories earlier tonight that's caused this unease, but just in case I'm getting haunted as a bonus, I'm playing it safe and just staying awake and alert.

Sarah and her husband are in Mississippi, Gulfport to be precise. Working when it's not raining, which is often lately...and when they're not working, they go out looking at the sights, today was such a day. She said all the beaches are closed, but while they were riding around, they saw a spot where 4 trucks were parked, people out walking the beach, so she and Roy stopped as well.

She said that they walked a mile down the beach and back up, and that the sand was full of not only shells, but human bones. She's going to go back to get photos to send me to prove it.. as I was finding it hard to believe. She said that there were so many, just lying on the sand, that it was like a horror movie. Jawbones, something she tried to identify, calling it cartledge from what looked to be an ear from the shape. Large bones, small bones she said had to belong to children. Just lying there on the beach. Along with the shells.

Roy kicked a bag and said that he could see what looked like a spine inside. It could have been an animal's, but he said it just made his skin crawl, that he just couldn't help but think it was human. Too, they saw a latex glove with what looked to be a black mummified hand inside. She's right. I'm going to need to see photos of those things to believe it. How horrible.

It's not impossible though, I did some online research, to see if someone had already taken photos of the beaches recently, but couldnt' find any. However I did find a site that explained which of the beaches there were still closed and why.

Mississippi Dept of Environmental Quality

It looks pretty much to be all of them in Harrison County.. because of 'debris' in the water. This site says that while their water analysis has indicated no problems with bacteria levels, it's not a good idea to go in just in case.

I suppose the beaches could be littered with human remains.. Katrina certainly killed a lot of people, as well as flooded cemeteries, and I did read where a lot of graveyards were flooded and tombs were broken and bodies did float away. Yes, I suppose what Sarah's saying is possible. Ugh. It's been over a year.. it was a year in August. It looks like our government would have created some kind of clean up crew just for that, doesn't it?

Hang on a second, I have to get my heart beating again.

May I say "FUCK!!!"? I'm already as jumpy as a cricket in a henhouse and the flippin' square of paneling that hides the attic crawlspace in my closet ceiling just fell down and hit Fudge, who decided the best reaction was to bark fiercely at the offending wood, which only added to my terror. I put my Christmas things up there earlier today and must not have put the paneling back right.
My only consolation is that tonight can not possibly be as long to last as it has been for these past 4 1/2 hours.

A while ago I decided to go straighten the kitchen, and while I was wiping off the counters and table, the light took a notion to dim. Then brighten. Then dim.. then brighten. It didn't flicker, it didn't flash, no tricks like Don described, after Midge died - just dim and bright, over and over.. I sat at the table and watched it for a time, half expecting the light to be the announcer for an otherworldly guest who was ready to pop in for a chat, but when that didn't happen, I stood up and tapped it to see if maybe a bulb was trying to blow. It stopped doing its dimming trick, but no bulb blew.

Then I started hearing rain. Very hard rain coming from out back, but when I looked, it wasn't raining. So I thought, well maybe it's just raining out front. (Yes, that's possible, I've seen it rain in one spot and a foot away be as dry as the Sahara) That, however wasn't the case. There was no rain, though I could clearly hear a downpour. That's when I eased myself on in here to get on the computer for a while. No, I wasn't ascared (Yes I was!) it's just warmer in here, and I was cold.

The neighbor's frickin' dogs are in their kennels out back, barking up a storm again, they have been all night.. as they've been doing every night since last summer. I don't understand how he can tell if there are prowlers when the blasted things never stop barking!

Okay, it's 4:30 now. I have 2 hours to go fix the girls' lunches, maybe watch a movie, maybe doze a little. (Yeah right...) If Mallory would stop thrashing in her sleep, and if Mikyla would stop moaning like something out of one of Sir Graves Ghastly's shows, and if things would stop falling, stop barking, and stop dimming and brightening...and if things would stop sounding like they were walking down the hall to my bedroom door, I think I really might be able to doze for an hour or so! I really do! G'nite, World!

New Years Eve At Mom's

We had tacos and cabbage rolls, red velvet cake and apple pie, and lots of pop and coffee. The girls took their Speed Stacker and we had a contest and Dad won!

My Goodness! I can't believe it's 2007 already! My GOODNESS, time isn't flying, its already flown!! E-Gads!!

I think these pics are a little clearer than my others were, I got a new camera for Christmas! What do you think?
