I'm finished, and it seems to be working. It's as sluggish and slow as the old one though, so we'll see how it goes. Could just be a problem with my host. Sometimes someone does something in their cgi bin that effects everyone. We'll see.
Anyway, now I have a back up journal. *laughs* That's just what I needed, another place to talk.
I've told Dippy that I'm out of commission. I've secluded myself in my room, and I'm not going to go out of here for anything but dire circumstances. He has the kids out in the yard now, I can hear them playing on the swings. This quiet in here has lasted for 5 minutes, let's see how much longer it lasts. I just needed a kid break - one hour will do - in the immortal words of the late great Keith Whitley "...even Cinderella got to go to the ball..."

"Can we go to Granny's?"
"Mikyla, I'm taking a kid-break, one hour, go help Dippy watch the babies, ok?"
"Then can we go to Granny's?"
"We'll see, go on now, okay, I'll be out in a while."
"THEN can you at least open my juice?"
*laughs*

Bonnie's working, Kelly's gone to Western Kentucky this week, so I have Joel too. God love him, he's a doll. But he sure can repeat himself. I've noticed that boys do tend to do that, just talk or hum *coughsdaddoesthehummingtothisdayit'squitemaddeningcoughs* or squeal, or mumble, or just any kind of noises.. I think if they couldn't make those noises they'd just whither up and die. I'm quite sure that's why God made Eve...so that when Adam ran out of noises to make, she could fill in the silence and he'd not feel afraid because of the quiet.

For those of you who were actually wondering what color it was.. it was red. From her juice. I'm sure someone out there needed to know that.
I want to go to Thousandsticks Kentucky. Why? I'm not sure why, I just heard the name of the town and it sounds pretty neat. Why would someone name a town that? What do you suppose is there to see and do? I wonder what the cemeteries there are like? Any of you out there ever hear of it?
I haven't been out to take cemetery photos in forever. I miss it. Sarah is going to try to get into a big one there in LA (yes she's back there for roughly a week) Greenwood, or Greenlawn, I can't remember the name but that it had Green in it. I hope she manages to do that.
When I got up this morning, I went out back to sit on the patio and get awake...2 of the little kittens that the mama cat hid months back were playing up in the far corner of the garden, they've sure grown. I didn't see the other 4 but maybe they're up there somewhere too.
The whole back yard smelled terrible, like a huge very dirty dog had been rolling on the hillside to leave his scent. Ick! I don't know what caused that, but I wonder if it was the thing Sarah and I saw a few weeks ago. I'm going to have to sit up some night just to watch and see what's out there. *laughs* I have an obsession with the monster in my backyard now.
Well, I think I'll go now. My hour is up.. I'm sure. It's been at least 10 minutes since Mikyla has visited me and I know she's in there fretting and wringing her hands worrying that something's wrong with Mammy. Poor kid.
