I went with Mom today and watched her buy it, order the inscriptions, and they're going to set it up in roughly 6 weeks. It's really a nice stone. Lisa and I bought the footstones to match, they say "Granpa" and "Granny" The kids didn't call dad Grampa, they called him Granpa.. so that's how it's spelled. That was hard. As hard as it was for me to watch, it was so much harder for Mom to have to do. She also paid for the company to etch Papaw's name and death date into his side of his and Mamaw's stone. They wont be doing that though until it cools down. The woman said it's too hot for the sandblaster to have to put on the gear he has to wear to do it now, but as soon as it cools off. So that's all been taken care of. I'll post a picture when it's all set up and in place.
