...Sarah's not the tidiest person on the planet. We tease her relentlessly about being so.. sloth-like in house keeping.. well.. cleaning anything really is a foreign concept to her. When she opens her truck doors, bottles, cans, papers, old food containers fall out onto the ground, she scurries to pick up some, leaves some laying.. just she's a mess.. always was. Sometimes she can be so bad it's baffling. I say she's like "Pig Pen" from the Charlie Brown cartoon, she carries her mess with her in a fog, leaving some of it everywhere she goes. She can walk by an ashtray and suddenly ashes and butts are scattered in a 3 foot radius around where the ashtray was. A can of pop will be spilled if she so much as glances at it. Yet she's always mystified at how the mess happened.. the kids did it, the dog did it, Roy did it.. a big wind came from nowhere and just .. did it! You get the picture, I'm sure.
Lisa and I were at the kitchen table the other night when we couldn't help but eavesdrop on a converstation Sarah was having with someone who had called a few minutes earlier...
Sarah (into the mouthpiece of the phone): "Oh, I know you, yes! Aren't you the one that I made puke that day?"
Lisa and I just lost it. I think Lisa got choked she was laughing so hard. We didn't know what she'd done to make this man throw up, but we did indeed believe that it was very likely and most probable that she DID in fact make a man puke.
