What a Nut
Animal Planet right now. Some guy and his girlfriend were eaten by bears a few years back, they have a documentary on him now. I just was listening to this nut.. yeah nut, for criminey's sakes.. he just watched a bear poop, ran his hands in it, exclaiming with joy that that was just inside his bear.. Goodness where do .. nevermind.
It wasn't too long after, he was inside one too. I bet that just shickled him titless!
Grrrrrr.. Yuck. I can't like this guy. I gotta go. I gotta change this channel. G'nite World, have a happy and safe July 4th weekend!!
Scare Tactics
I'm just.. I don't know.. I'm of the opinion that anyone who watches that show and likes it must have a mean streak a mile long. Who on earth would want to scare their friends, or even acquaintances, so badly?
I find myself compelled to watch. I must have a big mean streak because while I know if someone were to pull some of those pranks on me, IF I didn't die of a heart attack, I'd probably kill them, friendship over, that's that - I can't help it, I sit there horrified, but at the same time laughing my butt off at some of those Scare Tactics. Who thinks those things up?
Gawd I love that show!

Maybe if folks know that drug has the odd little side effect of makin ya Poop or Pee your self, they'll not want to take it.. I mean.. there's no way to hide that!
I can't imagine anyone wanting to take something and risk shitting on themselves in front of their friends. But then again.. I'm sure some of them would feel okay with it, so long as their friends are shitting themselves too. Gawd.

He just turned 6. Tuesday night he was in 7th heaven, getting to hang out with us so he could be with the girls. He and Mal were practically inseparable, and before we took them home, they both were lying across the red stool in the den, chins on their elbows, just talking, sharing memories that made them laugh, and I was semi listening, because Maegan was talking to me too.. and I heard Mal tell him something and he laughed, nodded, yes, he remembered, then he sighed so very wistfully and shook his head and said, "Good times, good times."
I had to laugh. He sounded so much older than his 6 years - as if that shared memory happened a lifetime before. He sure did miss the girls. I'm glad they're back in his life, that was hard on him.

Mik Mal Maegan..
I'm sorry for the loss of your little dog, Anna, especially so soon after losing Layla. Donkey's butts can be mighty heavy. :(

I talked to Mal last night by phone, but she said Mik and Maegan were in the shower. Mal said she'd have them call me when they got out but they didn't.
I called three times this evening but they didn't answer, and didn't call back. I sure hope everything's alright. It sucks going two days without talking to them.

Fireflies for Maegan
The girls will be here this weekend, then for our 2 weeks in July starting on Monday. We're pretty excited about it, and wanted to go get a big big pickle jar and fill it with the fireflies that fascinate Maegan, and give them to her tomorrow.
Lisa said the cemetery was the best spot so that's where we went tonight. We got about 200 of them in the jar, plus Nick caught the little reptile that's been sleeping in Dad's shoe, as well as a tiny little turtle he's saving for the girls. That was fun.
The little noseeums were biting Lisa and Nick, so they built a little fire at the foot of Dad's grave, they said the smoke would run off the bugs. I sort of had to furrow my brows at that, I mean, wouldn't that also run off our lightening bugs? It didn't, they were all over the place up there. Still.. I'm sure Lisa and Nick are gonna get in trouble for the campfire at the foot of Dad's grave. Mom's gonna get them. I just know it, I just know it. I didn't have anything to do with that business, not me, nooo not me, just them, they're the ones.. I swear!
That was fun, thanks Lisa, Nick, for going with me, the girls are gonna love their "lantern"!!
